Our Commitment

An Early Strong Foundation

Getting an early start will prepare your child to cooperate in school work and play for the next level of their educational foundation.

A Biblical Worldview

The influence of the world starts early. HBA's program purposefully presents a Christian worldview, planting seeds of faith in children's hearts and minds.

A Growing Mind

Teachers take into consideration differences in motor skills and cognitive abilities. Students will experience early success through realistic learning milestones. Students at this age enjoy learning with hands-on activities.

Our Approach to Teaching

At HBA, we believe that every child is uniquely created to learn and love the world God created. Our teaching integrates academics and spiritual growth, with a focus on personalized learning. Every student is unique. Our elementary teachers create an atmosphere of compassion, patience, and order in the classroom. Experienced aides assist teachers in helping students reach their academic potential.

Imitating the
Lord Jesus Christ

We are passionate about helping students succeed in our contemporary world! Our job is to assist parents by protecting young innocent minds in an ever-changing and often confusing society. Our heartbeat is to give your students everything they need to confidently live out a faith in Jesus Christ every school day.

Students will learn what the Bible says about character and reputation. They will learn that man evaluates the outside, but more important is God’s evaluation of their heart. The conformity of the heart to Christ will result in a life that magnifies Christ.

Our Elementary Program

HBA teachers provide excellent instruction for students in kindergarten through sixth grade. The classrooms are spacious and well-equipped for learning.

Students are challenged in each of the academic subjects and are trained to use what they learn in their relationship with Jesus Christ. We use textbooks published by Christian publishers. In addition, the Bible is used each day for devotional and practical instruction. Our reading program encourages students to love reading and develop comprehension skills.

Valuing the Opportunity to Learn

At HBA, students will learn that academics is not just about intelligence.

Wisely using time, establishing good priorities, and seeking help from teachers as needed are key habits of wise students. Students will develop their learning styles and optimize their study skills to be successful in their foundational education and be prepared for the rigors of Junior High and High School.

A Word from our

Principal

Children are one of God’s most precious gifts. God gives parents the responsibility to train, educate, and explain truth to their children. The Word of God is the ultimate source of truth, and is the guidebook whereby a child can come to know Christ. At HBA, we strive to incorporate biblical principles in every subject, at every grade level, and in every activity so that our students may continue to grow in their relationship with Christ.
